Vision
Students Cutting Carbon Emissions, Inc. was founded in 2023 with a dedicated mission to reduce environmental carbon emissions. Our transparent approach to goal-setting and strategy implementation enables us to make a significant impact. We evolve to meet society's changing needs and are committed to creating a better future.
As a new student-run, student-led organization, we're already achieving success with big plans to expand and make a greater impact.
Outreach
We prioritize outreach to ensure everyone can access the necessary resources to make a difference. Our community is the heart of our success, and we welcome anyone who shares our passion for cutting carbon emissions.
Partnerships
We believe that partnerships are key to creating a sustainable future. We are looking to collaborate with individuals and organizations who share our vision for the future and strive to achieve our mission. Join us in standing up for what you believe in and making a difference in the world.
Investment
Our initial investment will be in Calvert Impact's Cut Carbon Note, a growing and diversified fund promoting sustainability through building efficiency. We will build our portfolio through similar investments over time.
PEOPLE AND CULTURE
Since its creation, our organization has been led by students who run events, fundraise, advocate, and manage. Our organization comprises students from different schools in Northeast Ohio, all of which are dedicated to improving the health of our climate for the future. We know that climate change impacts our generation and we have an opportunity to positively impact our future.

President
Tommy is committed to cutting carbon emissions because he cares for the environment and has loved spending time outside ever since he was a little kid. He wants future generations to be able to share in this love safely and securely.

Vice President
Zachary believes that community give back is important and climate impacts will be with us for a long time. He wants to do his part to help the environment and his community.

I am part of SCCE because I believe in the mission of making an impact on global carbon emissions. Climate change is one of the biggest problems that our generation faces, and I want to do everything I can to make a difference

Treasurer
John likes to give back, help his friends and community. He likes investing and is excited to research opportunities and create a diversified portfolio of impactful investments. He likes the cause.

I want to be involved in helping students cut carbon emissions because students can make a real difference through small changes in their daily lives and schools. I also like the idea of being part of something that helps the environment while bringing people together to create positive change.

Carson is a young nature lover with a deep appreciation for the environment. He enjoys spending time outdoors, exploring forests, rivers, and parks.

Ella is excited to be a part of SCCE because she wants to learn more about ways she can make a positive impact on our environment. She is looking to stay active in our community and feels thats joining this cause helps her do that.
