Students Cutting Carbon Emissions, Inc. (SCCE) is a student-led, student-run organization focused on cutting carbon emissions by raising awareness, fundraising, and deploying capital into mission-aligned investments.

Focusing on emission reduction is the greatest leverage to mitigate the negative effects of climate change. We bring people together to impact the global environmental challenge.

SCCE operates as a not-for-profit company with a foundation that provides permanent capital to mission-aligned organizations.

Students Cutting Carbon Emissions, Inc is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Our EIN 99-2718111.

Mission:

2025 CUT CARBON RUN

The Cut Carbon Run is back! Last year's run was a great success and we are excited to present our next event, better than ever.

Where:

Chesterton Athletic Fields, N Park Blvd, Shaker Heights OH

What:

There will be a 5K race and a 1 mile fun run, with prizes for the top finishers! You can also race with a team, and your average time will be used for the race. Dogs are welcome, and there will be a short event afterwards with music and fun.

When:

August 2nd, 2025

Why:

Students Cutting Carbon Emissions is dedicated to making this world a better place. All proceeds from the run, like last year, will be invested into the Cut Carbon Note, a fund that works to support sustainable building efforts and reduce carbon emissions.
